This custom 16" shamanic drum is made from reindeer hide - a spirit of endurance, guidance, and sacred migration. The reindeer moves between realms of forest and tundra, sky and earth, carrying ancestral memory within its hide. A reindeer drum invites you to walk the ancient paths of intuition and belonging, attuned to the quiet wisdom of the northern lands.
You may choose from Ash, Oak, or Rosewood for the hoop:
Ash – the World Tree in Norse cosmology, symbolising connection between realms and renewal through spirit.
Oak – a guardian of truth and endurance, known as the tree of the thunder gods and the keeper of ancestral wisdom.
Rosewood – resonant and warm, often chosen for its deep tone and refined presence, symbolising love and harmony.
Each hoop is hand-sanded, waxed, and finished in ceremony. You can select your preferred handle design, each carrying its own meaning:
Triskele – the threefold path of life, death, and rebirth.
Spiralling Cross – the unfolding of creation and movement of energy through all worlds.
Cross – balance and harmony between the seen and unseen.
If you wish, you may also add custom carved/painted runes to your hoop for an additional £30.
