To birth a drum is to call a spirit into being. In ceremony we weave together hide and wood, prayer and song, gratitude and intention — until a living ally is born. Each drum carries its own voice and medicine, walking with you as a companion between worlds.
Through gratitude rituals, you will honour the animal and tree that gave of themselves and connect with their spirits as allies in the birthing of your drum. You may also choose runic guidance, adding runes or bindrunes painted with intention to weave the old magic into your drum.

Drum Lacing & Ceremony
With hands-on guidance, you’ll learn the sacred art of lacing a shamanic drum from start to finish, weaving intention and prayer into every knot.
Calling in the Spirit of Your Drum
Through guided shamanic journeying, you will welcome the spirit of your newly birthed drum, often receiving its name, its medicine, and the wisdom it brings to walk beside you.
