Outer pouch: Slip it off and hand wash in cold water with a gentle soap. Reshape and lay flat to dry, away from direct heat or harsh sunlight (especially important for the silk and viscose, which prefer a soft touch).

Inner pouch: Please do not microwave. The flaxseed, buckwheat hulls, lavender and labradorite are not suited to it - crystals in particular should never be heated this way. If you would like a little warmth before use, rest the inner pouch on a warm (not hot) radiator for a few moments, or hold it briefly between your palms with intention. The body's own warmth is often enough.

A note on the lavender: Its scent will deepen and mellow over time. If you'd like to revive it, give the pillow a gentle squeeze between your hands before settling it over your eyes - the friction releases the oils held in the dried flowers.
